-- Mon Feb 12, 2018 6:57 pm --

Yes I do.

Have you ever used a Nerf blaster or a Super Soaker?

What are your thoughts on RISK?

Is Monopoly really a bad game?

What's the best suit in a standard deck of cards?

@Bob:

1) One time, as a kid I was staying over at a friend's house. He had one of those battery powered Nerf guns that shot like 30 darts in 10 seconds. It happened to be in the room we were sleeping in. I happened to be the one that woke up first that particular morning, and being a child of very short attention span, was bored. So I unloaded that sucker into my sleeping friend's face to wake him up. Shockingly, I lived with that friend for two years until I got married.

2) I never got super into RISK because, again, short attention span. I also always get it confused with Stratego in my mind. Haven't played that game in at least 12 years. Man. Stratego was fun.

3) Monopoly is a great game if you play it with the right group. Despite my short attention span, I can get sucked into a game of Monopoly if the rest of the group is into it.

4) Clubs.

1. What era of AIO is your favorite, and why?
2. Which kids from the show are your favorite kid characters, and why?
3. Colgate or Crest?

@KODY 105

1) Novacom Saga will always hold a special place in my heart, but I also love a lot of the late 80s stuff like "Heat Wave" and "KYDS Radio."

2) Marvin is always a fave. He always felt like a "real kid" more than some of the others. Lucy will always be up there for me. She felt a lot more dynamic than a lot of the show's other female characters.

3) Colgate.

Have you been listening to the daily AIO broadcasts recently?
What is your opinion of eating dessert first?
What sci-fi show is your favorite, and why?

2) my wife's grandfather always ate cookies for breakfast. he always said he had no idea when he'd die, so he might as well have had a cookie that day.
3) x-files or star trek tos.

yeah, i do. in fact i think people who bump old q&a threads and write overlong, complicated questions and then answer said questions themselves are among the coolest and most attractive people in the world.

hi steve,

do you remember that back in the day on the ToO, double posting was considered a big no-no, and that moderators would take this very seriously and merge double posts into one post because it was poor forum etiquette?

what do you think are the top 5 rules one should remember in internet forum etiquette in 2024?

also, what is the most forgettable state in the U.S. and why is it Iowa?

hi marvin,

i do remember this. i remember doing it one time when i was a mere child and receiving a kind, but stern private message from a moderator who explained that this was behavior that we do not do here. that's why i triple posted instead of double posting here. also, do we even have mods anymore?

here are my top five rules for forum etiquette in 2014:

1) use forums. delete all your other accounts. return to the forums.your information's probably not being sold by forum admins but it definitely is by social media companies!
2) double posts are seriously uncool. however, as demonstrated, those who triple post are extremely cool and attractive.
3) return to using chatspeak when necessary. it is no longer 2009 so it's t0tes kewl 2 use dis.
4) i highly recommend posting several times across multiple threads late at night when you should be sleeping. studies have shown that this is when people are the funniest.
5) you should change your forum name to "marvin d." studies have shown that this is the coolest name.

also, it is nebraska.

hi steve,

thanks for your prompt response.

regarding point 5, by your own logic, should your username not be 'steve'? thanks, best.
