New York Times mentions FIF's incredibly succesful KickStarter campaign. That's right. They're Numero Uno on the "Music" charts. (Eat that, TFK!)

So... best thing to ever happen to the Christian music scene ever, right?

Oh dear heavens, they're back from the dead. *grabs a copy of the Zombie Survival Guide and gets ready to fire*
Have you ever really listened to Five Iron? Like...they're newer-ish stuff? It's a lot better than their first few albums.

Ska grates my nerves as a cheese grater grates a kitten. I like Brave Saint Saturn, though.
But FIF is not ska. When you say ska, you are speaking about Weird Al's song, whatever it's called. Five Iron Frenzy doesn't make anything that sounds remotely like that.Amethystic wrote:Ska grates my nerves as a cheese grater grates a kitten. I like Brave Saint Saturn, though.

I have listened to multiple FIF songs, and if that's not ska then I am incapable of distinguishing otherwise. The brass is extremely obnoxious.
Well, frankly, you are the only one.Amethystic wrote:I have listened to multiple FIF songs, and if that's not ska then I am incapable of distinguishing otherwise. The brass is extremely obnoxious.
Check out their new song. www.noistrade.com/fiveironfrenzy I have some friends who hate horns with a passion, but they love this song. Try it.
