Heh, I don't necessarily listen to certain genres more than others. I just listen to songs and determine if I like them or not. There's like.... only 1 song that I like from any band (that's usually the way it goes...)

"Midnight City" by M83 - The song itself is pretty interesting, but it's the music video I love to death. It makes the song ten times cooler.

I KNOW!! The music video is just GREAT! I just love those kids! They are just so ADORABLE!

Anyway... Yes, the music video deffinately adds alot to the song. I heard the song on the radio first, and I loved it, so I looked up the music video, and I loved it even more!

Soemone once asked me what Inie Rock is, and the best descirption that came to mind was, "Fire, Death, and Lemons."
I think that pretty much sums up all of Indie Rock.

Here's an interesting song. It's one of my favorites by Lindsey Stirling.
To get the full effect of the song, you have to watch the video that goes along with it.
It has a pretty good message.



The message I got from it was:
Don't let other people "project" their personalities onto you, but let your own personality "transcend" the others.

Next time, tell them it orignally means "independent," meaning without a record label, but over time, it came to mean more unique-sounding rock, that often sounds like famous indie rock bands such as Radiohead and others.
