I'm not familiar with St. Baragon could you expand on his story?

So in all seriousness since non-denominational can mean anything is there a denomination you would be somewhat close to?

I really like the Baptist church I've attended the last dozen or so years, but to be fair I don't know the inner-workings of their doctrine, I just know that I generally agree with what is said and how things are done. I do diverge with them on eternal security issues but off the top of my head that is all I can think of, although I'm sure there are other things here and there.

You believing in eternal security correct?
Does it feel at all odd going to a church you have significant differences with?

Err, no, the church believes in eternal security and I do not. But really its generally not discussed at length in every single sermon so I manage to survive through.
I don't believe every sin loses salvation, just that a true Christian can reject their faith and thus God doesn't force them into heaven against their own will. Most eternal securists that I know would insist the person was never saved to begin with, or would be forced into heaven against their will, or something. I say salvation is a gift we don't earn, but we CAN return it if we're stupid (and have the receipt). I also am not convinced one would keep their salvation if they forsake their Christian lifestyle and live a sinful life with no remorse... but that is more murky, imo.

Ah, that would seem like a pretty major difference.
Credo or Paedo baptism?
Communion, how often?
Recognize any Creeds?

Credo.
Scripture doesn't have a clear "and the third Sunday of every month, do this in remembrance of me" so I don't think there is really a set right frequency to do it. The church does it once a quarter, I actually think its more meaningful the less often it occurs, like doing it every Passover or something. Otherwise it just becomes "tiny free snack time!"
I recognize Scott Stapp as the lead vocalist of Creed and do not endorse Altered Bridge nor Stapp's solo career.
