She never fell in love with Gales really, He was just her best friend. He was more in love with her and Katnis was half in love with each

^yeah, i agree with Blitz. It did slightly annoy me, all the drama surrounding who Katniss loves, but
I am glad she and Peeta ended up together after all.
Spoiler added: Katniss ;)

Exactly! \:D/

She never really was in love with Gale. :-k

^ Then what was the big fat problem? If she didn't love Gale, why couldn't she just love Peeta?

Because she's stubborn? ;)

But why would she be stubborn, if she isn't loving anybody? If she doesn't love Gale, what's stopping her from loving Peeta?

She was really confused and she was really close to him. And remember how she almost went 'insane' when he was in prison. She was divided between the two.

That's my point. She does love both of them.

She could live easier without Gale than with out Peeta though. Peeta comforted her etc.

Katniss is already confused in many ways, not very in-touch with her emotions to begin with (she can't afford to be), fighting for her life and expecting to die on a semi-regular basis, traumatized a few times over and suddenly has to deal with things like her best-totally-not-romantic-right? closest friend kissing her-wait-now-I'm-confused while she deals with the Hunger Games and being forced to make a show of being in love with Peeta (which she may or may not be, she honestly doesn't know and isn't in a good position to work it out) on pain of death.

It's not that easy at the best of times. Under the circumstances, Katniss is doing well.

Okay it is more like she fell in love with them at the very end, but she actually more fell in love with Peeta first than his being away gave the chance for Gale in the last book.

You know what I find funny? That you people care about a fake character's love triangle... that isn't even real.

We're invested in a work of fiction. People have gotten into novels for centuries, and fiction in general for what I'm pretty sure is all of recorded human history. This whole forum is based on a radio drama. What's your point?
