This morning I saw an elderly woman at Village Inn reading the Hunger Games.

Yeah, that rarely, if ever, actually ends as well as you expect it to.Blitz wrote:We can unite the world through the hunger games destroy government and move to a new era maybe not

Okay, so Taps loaned me his copy of the first book. (Entitled The Hunger Games...but I didn't need to tell you that.) And MAN! It's like a million zillion times better than the movie!

This makes me happy. I'm glad to see people who watched the movie pick up the book and like it even more!Steve wrote:Okay, so Taps loaned me his copy of the first book. Give us your thoughts when you finish, Steve.

I love the first book and the second but not the third.
Is book better than the movie or the movie better than the book? I watched the movie, but I have not read the book.

And I thought Steve was opposed to discussing or promoting fictional works.

No. I'm simply saying that if you're going to promote the fictional work, at least promote the right one.Whitty Whit wrote:And I thought Steve was opposed to discussing or promoting fictional works.

So, I just saw this movie the other day. I knew the whole plot already, but it was still fantastic.
Love you always, SnC

I finally got my hands on the 1st book, it was quite spell bounding. I read it in one night. It was not what I was expecting because it was way better than my expectations. I thought it would be a Twilight/Harry Potter type series because it is so popular but it wasn't . (well I don't know about Twilight because I don't really know what their about)

I have heard a lot about the Hunger Games and was wondering what you thought about the movie. (by the way I am not going to go scrolling through all 22 pages looking for those COMMENTS)

Pro tip: it would probably be a good idea to go through the 22 pages, because not many of us have the desire to repeat ourselves.
