Ever hear Derek Paravicini?

Here's the place for discussing music, plays, YouTube videos, and any other media that doesn't quite fit in the other sections of Harlequin Theatre.

Ever hear Derek Paravicini?

Post by snubs »

He is an amazing pianist. The only thing is though, he is autistic, can barely count to ten, and blind. But he can play just about any song he has ever heard (even if he has only heard it once). His sense for music is so amazing that he doesn't just play songs straight...he always puts his own twist one them (to make them better of course. ;) ).

Here is a documentary about him if you want to learn more about his musical genius:
Extraordinary People - The Musical Genius [part 1]

Extraordinary People - The Musical Genius [part 2]

Extraordinary People - The Musical Genius [part 3]

Here are some videos of Derek playing:

What a Wonderful World

Flight of the Bumblebee

Fly Me to the Moon

Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer

Winter Wonderland

Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire

Christmas Medley
