Suggest music for Lee! :) (does this sound familiar?)

Here's the place for discussing music, plays, YouTube videos, and any other media that doesn't quite fit in the other sections of Harlequin Theatre.

Suggest music for Lee! :) (does this sound familiar?)

Post by Lee »

I actually had wanted to post this before I saw AE's thread so... :-

My parents subscribe to MOG. Its a service that pretty much lets you download any music you want. \:D/ (if you stop paying for it then you lose whatever you download though. :( ) So I need some ideas! I love instrumental stuff. Soaring music (like some movie soundtracks. I don't watch movies but I love to listen to certain soundtracks. ) I like flute, violin, chello... Any favorite songs, artists or albums you could reccommend? Please no rock anything. Thank you! And bonus, if you suggest something that I listen to and like I'll send you $5.00. (only one $5 per person though.) \:D/

I'd suggest all the ones I suggested for AE, plus most of the Laura Story songs, especially 'Remember'!

I would listen to the 10th and 11th Doctor's soundtrack if you haven't already. Even if you don't like Doctor Who, the music is so awesome!

(Search Murray Gold.) I love MOG! Or at least I did for the one week I had it...

You might like Declen (Galbraith) an Iresh/British singer. Well, particularly his "Tears in Heaven" and "An Angel." He's not Christian, but there's nothing like, sick about his lyrics or anything. And he's extremely talented.

Try "Blessings" by Laura Story, it's a beautiful song. Also maybe The Peasall Sisters, their Christian girls and the majority of their music is good. They play kind of a country style, and they have some really nice songs.

"Moonrise" is a beautiful piece! :inlove: I listened to it on my iPod whilst at the amusement park this summer--it turned being held to the roof by centrifugal force into an aetherial flying experience. \:D/

Oh, and Eine Kleine Kaffeemusik is decent as well. Cello, piano, and one CD has flute I think. All the songs are original compositions by members of the Mulfinger family.

Both of those look like something I'd love but neither are on MOG. :( :mecry:

Aw, that's too bad. :( Well, maybe you can put some of the CDs on your Christmas list or something. ;) One of my Adagio Trio's CDs, Sanctuary, has been missing for a while and if I can't find it, I'm asking for a replacement. :P

One of my favorite songs is "Gold" by Abandon. (Just don't pay any attention to the lyrics posted beneath the video; this person got the lyrics quite wrong haha.)
But break my heart, for I must hold my tongue. --Hamlet.
StrongNChrist ~ Remembered Forever <3
Men who kill without reason cannot be reasoned with. --Stoic the Vast
Let's go down together for one more chance. The skeletons are screaming for one last dance. --Hawthorne Heights
Tell 'em turn it up 'til they can't no more. Let's get this thing shakin' like a disco ball. This is your last warning, a courtesy call. --TFK
You have nice manners for a thief and a liar. --Smaug
I know you mean well, but leave me be. Yes, I'm alone, but I'm alone and free. --Elsa

I am torn between your comments. Yes, Star Wars music is the best film soundtrack ever. No doubt. At all. But Owl City is pretty stinkin' awesome too. Honestly, have you heard anything besides "Fireflies?"

:highfive: For the Star Wars part ;)

Yes, unfortunately, I have made my ears suffer. they were forced to listen to Owl City more than just once. The only problem that I really have with Owl City is the meaningless lyrics.
