The Town of Odyssey

The Stage is set, Commissioner Eugene Blackgaard is making a speech about how he hates crime and will wip out all badness blah blah blah. SUDDENLY!!! A giant vortex opens behind the commissioner, and out pops... Eugene Blackgaard? Yes, it is he, but much younger and familliar, Eugene Blackgaard #2 grabs the old commissioner and effortly hurls him into the vortex, closing it up.

"Well, stick me in your pocket and call me a dime, it's good to be back!"

Dr. Watson twirls his gold-hilted cane and shakes Eugene Blackgaard #2's hand. "Am I glad to have you back," he chuckles.

"It's good to be back, old chum! So, while that old goat, who for some odd reason is a paralell universe version of me, had you on his force did you get any good info we can use againts the cops?"

*is glad to see the real EB appear*

EB, I'm thrilled that you have returned, old - I mean, young, chap! It is a delight to have you around, but something seems different - did you sahve?

*hopes that all prying enemy eyes will note the casual conversation*

"More like, I didn't shave. Can't you tell a beard when you see one?"

"But no mustache, my good buddy! So you must have shaved!"

*laughs, hoping that she doesn't sound too nervous*

"You fail to grasp the concept! You see, that EB who you knew for the last 4 months was not I, but my counterpart in a paralel dimension! That fool, John Whittaker, put me there to spoil the Blackgaard Clan's fun, and to use my good name as a puppet to elect my counterpart as Chief of Police in disguise! Terrible, isn't it?"

"Very terrible! I cannot believe that John Whittaker would stoop so low! He had no idea who he was truly dealing with!"

*smiles awkwardly*

Are all Blackgaard's evil or do you just have evil relations?

"OOHHH we are veerrry eeevi--"

*Catspaw jams EB hard in the ribs*

"COUGH! *sputter* Errr we'relawabidingcitizensjustlikeyou."

Elf is walking around, minding her business as usual- when a small crowd attracts her attention. She turns the corner, and...

Feeling somewhat reassured by the weight of the lightsaber at her waist, she stands in the shadows and watches EB pull that Jekyll and Hyde thing yet again.

*Is shocked and awed*

*Considers the new devlopments... Approaches his nemesis*

Ho! Fair Blackgaard, it seems that fate has placed a testy turn on our highways of life. A very U-shaped turn. Indeed!

I have been watching you, that is, your counterpart for the last several seconds. He was my target according to some famous guy. But since you are certainly not him and vice versa... perhaps something greater could be arranged. What say you friend bearing the fiendesh face of my enemy?

"You seem like the dastardly sort! Dare you wish to join our band of villiansd and thie-"

*Catspaw backhands EB.*

"*sputter* Err... Our band of white collar workers and boyscouts?"

Watson eyes EB with a concerned gleam in his eye. What was with all this stuttering? Obviously the clan's gallant leader acumen was a little rusty since emerging from the parallel dimension vortex thingie.

Watson steps closer to EB and whispers in his ear. "To the mansion, my dear fellow--I know just the medicine to bring you back to full health."

Captain Jack walks around the corner and to his suprise, EB!

LBG looked over and ate another shrimp. "Oh! I thought this was the comic book villains convention!" She looked around...

"Oops."

*Barry comes up and slaps EB on the back.*
