Well, he does have a voice that kind of just naturally sounds like that, so it's hard to tell....

But I'm pretty sure there's auto-tune on that song. You'd have to ask Amethystic though. :P

edit: she got to it first. :x

Yeahhh, that's what I thought. :- He uses synthesizers for his background music, usually, but as far as I know he mostly leaves his voice alone (other than the usual editing that comes with recording an album). I absolutely adore his voice. :D

Fear not, Lee, there's nothing to be forgiven. ;)

Not to continue the argument, but from what I've researched, he does use auto-tune of some sort on most of his songs.

Maybe not that one though. :anxious:

Which ones? :-s Because I own, like 90% of his songs, and I can't remember any auto tune.

And I own 100% of his songs, and they all sound exactly like "In Christ Alone", as far as his voice does. Do you know which ones he autotunes?

I'm just going from what I've heard on the internet, and probably 90% of what I've read says that he uses Melodyne.

Maybe they're wrong, I dunno. :anxious:

He might use it for creating his backup vocals. He backs himself up a lot.

You could be right.

Regardless, he's still a very skilled and creative musician, and if he can't his some of the higher notes and has to use auto-tune once in a while, that's fine with me, and it certainly doesn't mean he's any less skilled.
