Books that should be made into movies

I'm pretty sure that Walden Media (Holes, Narnia, the up-coming Charlet's Web) are making it.

Rebecca Tingle's "The Edge on the Sword" and "Far Traveler" I just read them, and though not popular books, really, they would make for good movies--if done right of course. especially for those "princess minded" (like me :anxious: )

I would say that every book in the Binding of the Blade series should be made into a movie.

I'd like the Jasper Fforde books to be made into movies, at least the Nursery crime series, but that's not going to happen.

Paid in Blood, by Mel Odom, should definitely be made into a movie, or at least a miniseries. And, of course, anything written by Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker. :D

One of my favorite Children's/middle teenage type books ever! It's right in there with Chronicles of Narnia... So good.
I love that book! didn't the same author write a similar book about a girl who lived in the same type of world?

Yes, she wrote three kind of like that one. Hangman's Curse (by Frank Peretti) was made into a movie.

Enders Game
Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan Boys..... :D

Any of Kit Pearson's books. The Guests of War trilogy would make great movies. "Trapped in Ice" by Eric Walters would also make an excellent movie. "Detectives in Togas" would totally rule, as would its sequel. I'll think of some more later.

Yes, it was. I must say that I was fairly disappointed with it, though. The acting was less-than believable (although Frank Peretti's performance as the "mad scientist" was entertaining), and it was hard to understand what was happening in multiple scenes (particularly the drug-bust scene).

But, I did like the inclusion of Ian's attempted suicide in the movie.

Jane Eyre. Definitely. If they did, I hope it wouldn't be cut down into two hours, but rather into three or four hours, if not three seperate movies for Jane's different stages of life.
