Most Anticipated Holiday 2010 Film?

Post by American Eagle »

This Holiday (November/December) film season is packed with big-budget productions. Which ones are you anticipating? Here's a little background:

Megamind
DreamWorks Animation's next film starring Will Ferrell and Brad Pitt.
Image
Unstoppable
November action movie starring Denzel Washington and Chris Pine.
Image
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I
Seventh film in the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling.
Image
Tangled
Latest "princess" film from Disney; it's a modernized version of Rapunzel.
Image
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Third film in The Chronicles of Narnia series by C.S. Lewis.
Image
The Tourist
Upcoming action flick starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp.
Image
Tron: Legacy
Sequel to the old Tron movie by Disney; should be fancy 3D.
Image
Yogi Bear
Similar to Alvin and the Chipmunks, this is a animation/live-action mix.
Image
Gulliver's Travels
Based on the old TV series (sort of, I think), this is a family-adventure film starring Jack Black.
Image
Little Fockers
Comedic sequel to "Meet the Parents" and "Meet the Fockers", starring Ben Stiller and some other people.

She left many of us behind. She left us heartbroken. And though we cry now there'll come a time when we'll laugh. Because we'll see her again someday. We'll be with her in heaven. And when we go to heaven she'll be there to greet us. She'll be there to say "Welcome home." -From a poem that SnC wrote about her grandmother

Voyage of the Dawn Treader, for sure! \:D/ It's released 5 days after my birthday, so I've been throwing out hints about what a GREAT present some tickets would be! :-

I'm looking forward to Megamind (a little), Tangled (a little), The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (A LOT), Tron: Legacy (a lot) and Gulliver's Travels (a lot). I only plan to see The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in theaters. The rest (including Yogi Bear and maybe Unstoppable) I'll wait for DVD. \:D/

I'm really psyched for Voyage of the Dawn Treader, but I'm also kinda pumped for Tron Legacy. I saw the original movie a couple years ago, and it was really good--it'd be interesting to see the idea in today's tech.

It would have to be Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I'm not super excited about any of the offerings, but I'm sure hoping Voyage of the Dawn Treader sticks closely to the book.

I'm looking forward to Voyage of the Dawn Treader and Megamind. I'm hoping Narnia 3 will turn out to be better then Prince Caspian. It might, since it's not Disney anymore

Yeah. Since Prince Caspian didn't do as well as they hoped Disney decided part way in that they didn't want to do it anymore. Then it took forever for the group to find someone else who would want to take the chance and take it - because they aren't sure if it'll get that much money since Prince Caspian did horribly. Fox took it last December or so I think, which is why it's coming out this year instead of last year. Fox likes taking those chances. Most times it works out for them too

None of the abvove!
^AIOluver^

Who am I? I'd rather not answer that question, the real question is, "Who are you?". Right now I am trying to think of something witty to put here.. I might not find anything, but that's fine. This block of text should be fine for a signature. Wait, are you still reading this? Why are you reading this? Stop. Seriously.
STOP.
This sentence is true.
The sentence above is false.

I dare you not to read this.
Hey! I said not to read this.
Maybe if I talk like this.
Wait, you still see me? *sighs* I give up.

It's a tie between Voyage of the Dawn Treader and Tron: Legacy. :D

Dawn Treader, that is the only good movie coming out for the next 3 years, then Maximum Ride and the Hobbit are coming out(hopeful). They probably messed up the Dawn Treader more then they already did with the little details ig. Caspians hair is supposed to be blond/golden.

I don't think most people pay attention to minor details like that ;)
