Super Mario Galaxy 2

I was surprised to see no one had created a topic for this yet, I came here to see what people thought of the game and there was nothing, So I'll start a topic for it.

Has anybody played Galaxy 2 yet? what do you think of it?

I got it for my birthday and I think it's amazing all the references to past games I love it. So far I've only got 90 stars out of the 242 in the game. I like the new bowser battles more than the first one even if they are easier (somehow the idea of bowser jumping and hurting himself didn't seem real to me). I really like the music too except for the first bowser jr level, that music is too happy to be a boss level, so what did everyone else think?

I've tried "3D-ish" Mario games like this one, but I’ve never liked them as much as the "side-scrolling" type.

Mario Galaxy is an awesome game! I really wanna play 2, but I don't know when I'll have time :(

So I rented Super Mario Galaxy 2 because I was bored yesterday, and it wasn't too bad. \:D/ The bizarre use of spherical geometry took a while to get used to, but it was enjoyable for the most part.

Never had a 64, either. >_>

I am currently playing the DS port, though. \:D/

It's... not bad. Just hard for me to get into, I keep missing jumps cause I'm used to 2D Mario. :(

Well, sure, if you compare Sonic's best to Mario's worst official game, Super Mario Sunshine. :noway:

Although it isn't terrible, it just isn't up to the usual high par.

Try Hotel Mario for a bad Mario game! \:D/

Or... Mario Teaches Typing.
