A boy, 13 years old, has been in the Blue Mountains for over 24 hours as of today... he went cross-country skiing and hasn't been seen since. He goes to the elementary school attached to my high school. :/ He is a 7th grader. Its not looking good. Please pray he gets found soon.

Thanks.

EDIT:

Please pray guys. Its been since yesterday, and one of my own friends knew him. Its not a good situation.

Thanks guys... Keep praying though. While the search has ended (they found him around 11:30 AM today)... it is suspected he died from Hypothermia, it has been so cold the past two nights. The day has been warm, but he wasn't clothed very warmly from the start. :/ It hasn't been a very good day for my high school and especially the elementary school. :/

Thanks though. Keep the Cain family in your prayers.

I don't know... :/ He went to a Christian school, but that doesn't mean he was saved. :/

Thats true. Half the middle schoolers in our youth group aren't saved.
So us Senior Highers are doing some Major seed planting and combining alot of the activities

Wow, so tragic. :( A friend of my sister died skiing last year, and it was a difficult time for all them. I'll have to keep praying for the family, and I pray he was saved.

Lord we may not understand why this happened
To have a life so young taken away
But we know that you have a purpose in all of this
I pray for the family and friends of that boy that they would come to know you if they don't and if they do that you would just draw them closer to you.
Lord I just ask for a spirit of comfort and revival for all those involved and thank you for answering before i even called

:) Thanks guys. Keep praying. I've heard the funeral is on Sunday.. :/

But, I found out this by post on FB "Nathan was baptized six weeks prior to his death." :) It sounded like he was on fire for God. Comes as a relief hearing it. I can't wait for Heaven...

That's good to hear, Danielle! I'm hoping he was saved as well. It said on his Facebook prayer page that he was in a Bible Bowl. Of course, we can't know for sure he was saved, but it's very possible. :D My heart still goes out to the family. The fan page is called "Praying for Nathan".

I'm very sorry to hear about this! :( I'm so glad that he loved Jesus, though. I'll be praying for his family.

I'm also glad he was in PBA. Maybe we can be on the same team in heaven. :)
