Hank the cowdog

"Books? You want books?! Ha! We've got books on hairy otters, on onions and on mars! All the fungus you could care for, plus, three triple zillion stars. We've got books on flossing teeth, plus three books on tossing sheep. If we spent our lives just counting books, we'd never get to sleep!" -Leopold the Librarian ("The Great Wishy Woz")

I used to read it, back when I was younger. My older brother used to own the books. I loved them \:D/

YES! I've read all of them, own 23 of them, and managed to read all 54 in three months this summer for the ToO reading contest!

I used to read a few. The public library always has a very poor selection, however...

Yes, I remember that well! The first thing I thought of when I read this thread's title was that Hank the Cowdog is Dan's favorite series.

 It was the same for me! I've never seen any of the book covers and know nothing about them, but I immediately thought of Dan the second I saw this title!

Yes I love the books. Some people may think they're just kids books. U got it wrong! They are soooo funny. My mom likes them. The audio books aren't like books read on tape. Almost like dramatized.

For some reason, I have this vague memory about reading one or two of the books. :-k But I was never a dog person, so I wasn't ever that interested, I guess... Still, it's in the back of my mind.

I love those books and audio books! I used to have one of them (maybe I still do, I'm not sure), and we get the books and audiobooks from the library sometimes.

She left many of us behind. She left us heartbroken. And though we cry now there'll come a time when we'll laugh. Because we'll see her again someday. We'll be with her in heaven. And when we go to heaven she'll be there to greet us. She'll be there to say "Welcome home." -From a poem that SnC wrote about her grandmother
