Harry Potter

Since we've only mentioned it about twenty million times...

"Books? You want books?! Ha! We've got books on hairy otters, on onions and on mars! All the fungus you could care for, plus, three triple zillion stars. We've got books on flossing teeth, plus three books on tossing sheep. If we spent our lives just counting books, we'd never get to sleep!" -Leopold the Librarian ("The Great Wishy Woz")

Oh please.

Um, last I checked, JK Rowling was a professed Christian. If you want to question that, fine, but the same logic would cast similar doubt on the other two.
Woah, really? I didn't know that. There goes my argument. :x :noway:

Just because she included the usage of magic DOES NOT mean that she was influenced by a demon. Where has she openly said that she was demonically guided? To say something like that--particularly when you haven't offered evidence other than a plot device--is a very serious charge.

I recall reading that he was upset that C.S. Lewis was not into Catholicism...I can't remember if Lewis was Protestant or Orthodox, but I don't think he was Catholic. Still, there is no doubt in my mind that Lewis and Tolkien were Christians.

Tiger, all you have to do is Google is... There are quotes from his grandson about how devout he was. Does that mean he wasn't saved? No, but it's like being a Messianic Jew... Except they don't have a name for it for a Catholic who is a Christian, I don't think. :-k Lewis was of the Church of England, so whatever their beliefs were... *shrugs*

Seriously, does it matter? Would you stop liking Narnia if you found out he actually wasn't a Christian and it was rumored that he wrote the books under demonic influence?

No, I was just making a point. =P I wasn't ticked or anything, just pointing it out. *shrugs*

Well, if he was under demonic influence, and I knew that without a shadow of a doubt, then no, I wouldn't read it. ;)

I didn't say that I didn't think they were Christians, I was simply stating that I knew for a fact that they were no matter what branch. If it came across that way, that was my fault; should've worded the post differently!
