I love guys with goofy German accents (Hogan's Heroes, anyone? ) and Snickers bars, so I have to say that any comments against these wonderful things are strongly discouraged. Be good, and don't make me post in this thread again, since I have never read any of these books.

The big fan support for them from a group of you here on the ToO has piqued my interest. I'll try to remember to check to see if my local library has them so I can read a chapter and see if I want to read more! We'll see if I remember.

The obvious solution does seem to be you reading the books. Which would be awesome. Although skimming through the manga version left me like Books much better, in my opinion.

Read one chapter of The Angel Experiment and you're not getting out of that book for a while, eh, peoples? Although you might have to read like ten chapters, because each chapter is about two pages..

The book is better, but I still love the manga.

I think that Maximum Ride has three main readers: those who love it, those who love the first three books but then get scared off by the fourth one (it picks up afterwards), and those who get bored halfway through and stop reading it. I'm part of the first group.

I'm a cross between the first and second groups. I luv the first three books best, but the rest of them are still very good.
