I still want to know what tone I'm supposed to use...
"Sonuna" Taranimak ("Sonuna" Sharkquill) has been content lately. She admired own very fine Bed recently. She talked with a parent recently. She talked with a friend recently. She had a good meal recently. She admired a fine tastefully-arranged Desk recently.
She is a citizen of The United States of America. She is a member of The State of Minnesota. She is a member of The Town of Odyssey.
"Sonuna" Taranimak likes Bauxite, Copper, Green jade, the color navy, cloaks, ballistas, cats for their aloofness and hydras for their seven heads. When possible, she prefers to consume Dr Pepper and ramen.
She lives at a relaxed pace. She tends to avoid crowds. She has a fertile imagination. She is completely disorganized. She is very distant and reserved. She tends not to openly express emotions. She needs caffeine to get through the working day.

I usually say "zee-eye-aaah" and then kind of give up.
So you lost your trust,
And you never should have.
No, you never should have.
But don't break your back
If you ever see this,
But don't answer that.
In a bullet proof vest
With the windows all closed,
I'll be doing my best
I'll see you soon.

a little easier than xkcd

;)

no seriously, it's a word I never *pronounce* aloud, just type, and in my mind when I read it I magically start with the beginning x sound like in the end of "box" but without any kind of vowel before it at all. That's the thing about mental pronunciation... magic!

I say exactly this. (Which is very similar to "Ecks-ayo" in the poll.)

Xay-owww. That's how I pronounce it.

Though, I prefer not to try to pronounce, I just see it and don't think of it more than that. But usually Top and I talk about the board and I'm forced to pronounce names on here - I have a few nicknames for people so I don't have to say their usernames. \:D/

I've always mentally pronounced it like it was Chinese so good to know that was correct. When talking about him to other people, I say, "Jer-uh-mee" or "Jerms." ;)

I've always pronounced it like 'shaow' when I'm online and see posts of yours, figuring that it was supposed to be Chinese. Otherwise, I just consider you Jeremy.

I tend to read/pronounce it as "zhao". Which then gets me thinking about Admiral Zhao from Avatar...
