Get Your Voice on AIO!

Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

My voice sounds awful on a tape recorder. My guess is it would sound a thousand times worse on the radio and my chances of winning are zero.

"Yuck, I hate my voice on tape!"

;)

I'd submit a recording if I had a much younger sounding voice. I wonder if helium would work...

Wouldn't you sound like one or all of the Chipmunks? Or are you hoping to sound like them? ;)

I don't like my voice, but I'll probably enter anyway, even though I probably wouldn't win unless they want someone who sounds like a congested squirrel.

Someone should submit a clip like, "I remember when I was younger I used to visit the Bible all the time and I saw Connie accidentally break the talking mirror. What did it ever do to her?"

Or maybe "I remember the time Connie hid in the broom closet cuz she was hiding from Mitch."

Bible room, you mean?

Use the chatroom! It's been active for a year, and most of you are missing it.
"Every time I start banging rocks together to make a beat, I feel all guilty and I need to repent for my sinful ways. :(" - Jelly
"I actually want to see this happen... the controversy would be legendary. :o" - American Eagle
":hilarious: This ladies and gentlemen is the founding of: 'The Awkward Club!'" - Steve
"Happy birthday, big Mercy! \:D/ \:D/" - Whitty Whit
I wasn't yelling. I was talking with vehemence.

Oh, I'll probably try, though not with my natural voice. :p

I believe this is what Dan was referring to (bold added for emphasis). :)

Wow, neat contest! This reminds me of the call-in Focus on the Family show last year, except the clips for this activity are shorter, can be done on your own time, and may or may not be serious.

I'm definitely going to enter. But there's one thing I don't understand. With that release form file, do you need to fill in the blanks (if so, then how?), or do you just attach it as it is along with the email?

Oh, you definitely need to sign the release form! They already have the blank one. I'm guessing you could print it out and sign it, and then scan it to your computer and attach it that way.

Why does your age matter, though? It doesn't say anything about all entries having to be kids' voices. O:)
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.

Because we all know what happens to people whose voices sound older...
