You should have recorded it and uploaded it to RiffTrax to make a few bucks!
Yeah, I was bummed when I found out it had been done already.

I do actually know one woman who made her second grade daughter read them with her. Obviously, since this girl is only 7 years old, she probably has little understanding of most of the scenes and could care less about reading this. Actually, I find that Twilight would probably give me nightmares. I don't really want to read about handsome vampires. No matter how cute he is, he's still a vampire!Bells wrote:Hmm... Do you, personally, know parents who are pushing their daughters to read it? Or are you just taking that from your *apparent* dislike of them? Just wondering..
Also, the strangest Twilight "thing" I've seen is an Edward Cullen Ken doll! Now Barbie can go to the prom with the guy of everyone's dreams! Poor Ken, must be feeling awfully left out...

And there are Bella Barbies, too.
But still, saying "some parents" as opposed to "one parent" is stereotyping. Just because one mother made the poor 7 year old suffer through them doesn't mean that anyone else has. Or that they haven't. Better to speak by fact completely. Rant for the day.... Sorry, but I've needed to rave about something. =P Don't mind me.

You are completely right and I apologize. I know that I should have not exaggerated, and I am sorry. I will try not to do that in the future. Friends?

Termite? Ranting? Whoa, there's a shocker.
"Death's got an Invisibility Cloak?" "So he can sneak up on people. Sometimes he gets bored of running at them, flapping his arms and shrieking..."
"And now the spinning. Thank you for nothing, you useless reptile."
"It unscrews the other way."

I can ask you the same question, Termite.

I think that it would probably be wise to drop this whole matter.
Besides, if you don't not know, then you DO know! And if you KNOW that the answer isn't NO, then you know that there's NO way, that I was being sarcastic!

Aw, way to end a perfect time of confusing two people completely, Rachel. Btw, love the paraphrase.

I'd love to see a MST3K type show on it! That's my fave show that's not currently on air.

I was at the bookstore the other day and noticed that, in the teen section, the walls were lined with Twilight ripoffs, the most blatant of which was a title called "Blue Moon" which was, coincidentally, also the second title in the series.

Were they parodies or actual ripoffs?
"New Moon" deserves the most parodying, though, because Bella is clearly shown here to have no life.

Hey, I go to school everyday with obsessed Twilight fangirls. One of my best friends is one, and I have now learned a valuable lesson--get more best friends.Jason Whits son wrote:Horror + Evil + Vampires + Obsession with blood + Inappropriate romance +obsessive twilight fan girls=
Twilight fangirls are like bricks--impossible to reason with, and they are capable of causing much pain should something bad happen.
