What do I do? - Memorize the Bible, of course!

When's the deadline? - August 31st

How do I win? - Post what you've memorized (it'll be on the honors system) and whoever memorizes the most, by word count, will win.

What's the prize? - $10,000 for 1st, $3,000 for 2nd and $1,000 for 3rd (hopefully the reset won't happen before it ends)

What can I memorize? - Anything in any translation that you don't already have memorized. It doesn't have to be in the same book or anything.

How do I sign up? - Post here or PM me. There's no registration deadline or fee.

I've been memorizing verses weekly but got off kilter because I was out of my natural environment for a good part of the last week. This is the perfect incentive to get back on track. I'm in!

Boy I wish I could memorize bible verses. I can't memorize anything though.

You have to post it all at once when you're done. That way, you can keep it memorized.

*enters* I have to memorize the B-I-B-L-E for school, nine scriptures a year, I've got technique.

So can we post stuff we already have memorized or just in the future?

Woah, the deadline is August 31!? For some reason, I thought this contest was ending at the end of July, and I was about to post what I had learned since July 15. Looks like I'll be able to learn more verses after all. Thank you, again, King Butter Turtle, for this fabulous incentive!

Well, since the cash reset is going to happen before the end of this contest, I will not have prizes to give the winners. So, I've decided to change the prize to the 1st $1,000 I earn in the new system (who knows how long that will take me) and a special sig only for the winner. And, for the drastic drop in the prize, I will split the money I have now among everyone who has signed up for use however they wish for the next few days.

I'm very sorry, but it's out of my control. They're taking away all my money!

Wow, I haven't done any memorizing yet, I just signed up and I get a prize that wont last until next week.

Is there a limit to how much we can memorize?
What format should we post them in?

A mod can't edit money... at least from the experience I've had... admins can, of course.
