But the best way to do it is to sit down and talk.

Nope, no sarcasm here. Sure, it's bears perhaps too much resemblance to a cheesy corndog, but no more so than most of the other episodes from this era: "Whit's Flop" is ludicrous, "The Tangled Web" is weird on so many levels, and "Gifts for Madge and Guy" is just silly, yet all of these are beloved shows. I think if "Lights Out" hadn't been pulled and expectations hadn't been so high for fans who had never heard it and imagined it to be so wonderful, then it probably wouldn't receive any special notice at all.
