Oh! Because it's just kind of rough and uncomfortable.

It gives you a phobia of getting foot slivers.

GemX was good (I finished it this morning). Poor [insert essentially all of the characters' names here] though.

There's Maxo, Gala, Phylo (Stretch), Daz, Dr. Igo Strang, and Clodrone 1640, along with others. Oh, there's also the Leaderene and Llulblo Quells too I guess. I think those are most of the key characters.

Um, my main names have been:

OdysseyCouples95 (Did NOT turn out so great...)
Odyssey Expert (Meh, sort of a boring name.)
and finally,
Amethystic (I always use Amethyst-something online anyways, so I just went with that)

Hawaiian, just 'cause. Sprite, just 'cause.
