I have an opportunity to make $100 *REAL* dolllars!

and YOU can help me!

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

I have an opportunity to make $100 *REAL* dolllars!

Post by Ruthie »

Hello World!

So, I have an opportunity to make an (easy..heheh) $100! The CEO of the company my dad and I works for, is looking for another term for something.

Each week at the different colleges and university's they cater to (They are a high-education food service..), they have "Monotony Breakers". Something new, and fun to break the 'monotony' of the menus. It's stuff like, hot pretzels, specialty foods...etc...

Anyway! They've used that term for YEARS, and he feels it's getting old. Whoever comes up with the best replacement term- gets $100 dollars. I thought I'd ask some of my amazingly creative friends for ideas! :D

The deadline is this Friday. SO! If you have any ideas (or anything just randomly off the top of your head!), I would love to have them.

Thank you SO much!

I would stay away from the negative (monotony, boredom) and emphasize the positive, if it's not monotony what is it? Exciting? Novel? Make-your-palate smile day?

Switch-Up?
... not to be confused with "toss up" which just might implying "tossing up," and food != something to be associated with tossing. (tossing cookies. tossing chunks. tossing popcorn. tossing salad. oh. wait.)
they may be copper,
annoying little coins! but,
they might be giants.

Oh, oh! From the one above, I thought of... "And now for something completely different!"

But maybe they're not Monty Python fans. ;)

Ah, but that line only reminds me of the movie Sliding Doors. :anxious:

Morsels of AwesomenessTM

But then they'd have to pay royalty fees to EK. :(

Heh. That might give me the unconscious desire to review my meal, while setting aside information gathered during previous meals. ;)

Nine days later... did you get the $100? What phrases did you suggest to the CEO? What phrase will be used?
