The Town of Odyssey

Everyone,

It's hard to believe we are now ready to bring to power the twelfth administration team! After about a month of campaigning, 3 teams emerged with the funds necessary to compete for the administrative crown. A turn-out of 80 votes were cast in the Twelfth Town of Odyssey Election.

Highlight below to see the results!

Iron and Light and The Top Crusader will become the new Mayor and Chief of Police of the Town of Odyssey and took 58 votes (72%) to defeat the other candidates. Regis Blackbeard and King Butter Turtle finished second with 15 votes (18%). Shadowfax and JD came in third with 7 votes (8%).

The winners will be appointed to their posts later today and the moderators will be decided in the near future, so keep your eyes open for that announcement! Congratulations to both of the teams involved! Everyone should be proud of what has been accomplished.


Just so you know, the poll thread is located here. This thread was created to easily identify the election results (in the same way we did for past elections) and the poll thread has been subsequently moved to City Hall for archiving.

I honestly was expecting a much closer result as well, I thought we had a fair chance of winning but I wasn't even sure if we'd win, let alone by such a margin of victory.

Still, to the other teams, you guys did a great job, and definitely have a bright future on the board--I hope to see you return to the campaign trail at a later date.

And, to the voters... Wow. I am in shock. I will just assume everyone was voting for Iron and Light.

Wow... Golly Gee Whilikers!... that was... wow... ONLY 15 for King Regis? That seems WAAYYY too low. Seems WRONG even... I think I'm speechless.

I just saw the election, and I must say I'm very surprised. I, too, expected this election to be MUCH closer than it was! King Regis and ShadowDewhite proved themselves to be very tough candidates to beat .

I want to thank everyone for voting for us. I hope we will not disappoint you in the months to come .
