Do You Still..........

Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

Do you still listen to AIO as you go to bed?

Strange you should ask that. I listen to AIO all the time before bed. Not that AIO episodes are boring (anything but), they just help me rest.

Now that someone else has said it, I will agree with almost line for line of what you said Angel.

Haha, guilty as charged, but I can still go to bed without it. lol. Sometimes, when I'm not tired or really want to, I listen to an Odyssey before going to bed.

All night? I listen to one if I get to bed early enough in my opinion, which is happening less and less these days. But I used to all the time!

I express exact sentiments to this user.

I have always listened to them before bed, which has been since I was born.

I just started listening to AIO as I fall asleep! \:D/ In previous years we haven't owned any AIO albums but last Christmas we got three albums and I got an iPod...wallah! I can now listen to AIO as I fall asleep. Though it doesn't really help me sleep at all...=P

I do when I am having trouble sleeping or need to unwind. AIO helps me clear my brain.

I don't, though I did at one time back in the day. With cassettes, it was nice since the tape player turned off automatically after the episode finished. Sometimes I would be able to estimate how long it took me to fall asleep judging from the scene I last remembered.

I used to all the time on tape... cause the tape player would turn itself off afterwards. Haven't in years, though. :noway:

I also used to listen while I took a bath! \:D/

I did when I was little. My brother, who shared a room with me, and I would get to listen to one episode before bed on a tape player very similar to this.

Ah, the good old days. I would love to get my hands on one of those bright rainbow ones with the microphones to listen on now. \:D/

I now think about AIO while trying to fall asleep. My collection is currently stored in my headboard, so I can't really help it. (not that I could anyway) They say it's what you think about when you have nothing in particular to think about, that you truly love.

I've done that too! Or, while vacuuming. :D

Wow. That happened to me last night. :anxious: I heard the closing song and remembered the last scene.

It depends; I used to all the time, but not so much now.
AIO helps when I can't fall asleep.

It's been a long time since it was AIO, but I always listen to something. I can't listen to music, because then I start to hum along, and I can't listen to anything really interesting on the radio, because then, well, I'm interested. AIO is a good choice, since I know it all well enough that I don't pay much attention.

In an attempt to expand my vocabulary, can you explain to me what the exclamation "wallah" signifies? It's not slang I've ever seen before.

I believe she was meaning voilà. ;)

Unless you were just kidding, in which case just ignore me. :-

I was thinking the same thing, but it seemed too off-topic.
