Paradise Series - Ted Dekker

Have you read it?

"Books? You want books?! Ha! We've got books on hairy otters, on onions and on mars! All the fungus you could care for, plus, three triple zillion stars. We've got books on flossing teeth, plus three books on tossing sheep. If we spent our lives just counting books, we'd never get to sleep!" -Leopold the Librarian ("The Great Wishy Woz")

I thought... that was pretty normal and common. :anxious:

Not that I do often but it sounds reasonable enough to me. :-#

I have borrowed Sinner, yay meeeeeee.

It is fantastique thus far. I cannot stand Darcy and her obsession with power, but I am perfectly fine with Johnny. And Kat.

I HATED that part! I was so mad when *spoiler* happened! ](*,)

Actually, I read Sinner before Saint so the whole way through Saint I was ](*,) . (Note: If you don't want *spoiler* to ruin a whole book, read Saint before Sinner.)

Wow- I just realized all I have to read are The Lost Chronicles (read the end of White just to remind myself of the outcome to that :anxious:), Kiss, Boneman's Daughters, The Slumber of Christianity, and Sinner.. then, I will have read all of his books \:D/. Yeah.., I guess that's kind of a lot :doubt:.

Although, I should probably read 'Blink' again, as I've completely forgotten that one :<. Is 'Blink of an Eye' any different than 'Blink'?

Also, has anyone heard about a sequel to Adam coming out? I thought he was going to write a book called 'Eve,' but I couldn't find my sources again when I Googled it months later :<. I really loved that book.

I thought I heard about Eve too, somewhere... :-k

"Blink of an Eye" is Blink, just tweaked slightly. Same story line, characters, etc, but the content has changed... Or so says our dear Mr. Dekker in the back of the book(BoaE)... I haven't read the origional Blink, so I wouldn't know personally.

The original's way better: Blink of an Eye's just a shifted focus, though. But they take out the scene with Seth in the church throwing Bibles in a perfect stack, and that made me sad. :(

I own Thr3e... but have yet to read it.

Just recently I got Showdown and Saint. Sinner was tooo expensive, as was Adam, but I was really excited for Showdown and Saint! I'll start them soon. Too much going on and too many books all ready started....

I have too many left to read. I cant' even name them all...
