The Official Tennis Discussion!

Do you play?

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Do you play Tennis. I just start Friday, it is really fun. I can't wait 'till I can play a real game with my sister!

What do you like, what don't you like about Tennis?

(Oh, and Mod's this may need to be moved into Harlequin. If that is the proper place than move it!)

i love tennis!! i played on my school's JV team last year, but they cut JV so all they have left this year is Varstiy, so i'm not su re if i'll make it. it's really fun, but i hate playing doubles, ij'm terrible at it. singles is way better, in doubles, you never know who should hit it, and then sometimes you'll both be standing there and it'll go right by you!! i'm not good at communicating.

Yes, I play tennis some, although I haven't actually played a game in awhile. When we were younger, all of us 4 kids were on city rec league teams in softball and basketball. It got so busy, running around to maybe 3 different fields at different times, that my dad decided he would teach us to play tennis for our sport. We could do it on our own time, with the family.

I'm not very good, and probably am worse than I remember since I haven't played in so long. Maybe now that Watson has his liscense, he can drive us over to the courts some evenings to play! \:D/

I love tennis! Granted, the only time I have played was freshman year in PE. However, I was quite good due to my extensive badminton experience. I wish I could play more.

I don't play--but a couple of months ago I played with some friends at the coast and had a blast so I went and bought rackets and balls, but have found no one to play with here...... :(

I really like racketball--I have rackets and birdies for that too...but alas, no playmates!!!! :boohoo:

I have played tennis many times, and love it. I played games against my older brother all the time--and won I might add (which is no easy feat!).

When our whole family went to the tennis court, we played doubles. It was quite fun being up at the net. I was dubbed "The Netman!" :)

I like tennis a lot. I started taking lessons about a year ago from a former intern at our church.

I don't like playing singles because I'm not very good and doubles gives me more room to get the ball in. I also like doubles better because it's less running and I can play net more (I'm good at net).

The thing I hate most about tennis? Drop shots. I hate drop shots.
