So, has anyone read these awesome books? I find them quite amusing and some great modern fantasy. Holly Short, Root, Foaly, and, of course, Artemis are my favorite characters. Do you think there will be another book?

I don't know if there will be another book or not...maybe smaller 'kids adventures'. I don't know.
But yes, I've read them all and love them!

Those books rock (and wait until Amy-la gets in here)! My favs are Artemis, Minerva, and Foaly.

I was able to relate to Foaly better before I saw his picture in the graphic novel.
Captain Root is dead.

Love the books, hate the improbable character of Artemis Fowl. He's the most annoying kid I've ever read about. I love it when the elfs get to punch him the in face and save his skin.

And I think they wanted to make a movie, but haven't really done much about it. I looked it up on

Yeah, ditto to what Invisible Ninja said. Artemis is what Eugene could have been: an evil genius with a heart of gold. Instead, Eugene is a good genius who still has a heart of gold.
