He was a prolific writer, mostly of thrillers with science-fiction themes. His most famous books were, "The Andromeda Strain", "Congo", "Disclosure", "Rising Sun", "Timeline", "State of Fear", "Prey", "Next", and "Jurassic Park".

By the way, my favorite is "The Great Train Robbery".
