Because there aren't enough campaign threads here...

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Wanting to help out the McCain/Palin campaign, but don't know how?

Simply click the above link, login/register (all you have to do is give an e-mail and area code) and go to "Make calls". You can make calls from home, they give you all you need to know. Script. Number. Name. You can also pick which state you want to call e.g. I picked VA because that is a tight races. Others you could consider are Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and many more.

I hope this helps ya'll!

Time is running out. You could make a difference.

I made a bout 6 calls, 5 I left messages and 1 was busy. Post your success, or lack there of.

Change the word "McCain", and insert "Obama", and that statement is true, given that the chances of a Obama win appear to be greater than the chances of a McCain win.

And I could not volunteer for a campaign. Campaign season is too taxing on my sanity as it is.

Because I didn't think of it before... :-s

Sorry.

And no, Obama doesn't need any help. He has enough because of his broken promise.... but I won't go into that.

Heh, yeah... if McCain had broke his promise as well, we could very well be looking at a different outcome tonight--but McCain stuck to his word.

I thought you might have meant how Obama's camp is trying to come up with ways to downgrade all of Obama's current promises, since he knows he can't deliver them. That story has been making the rounds, too, but I don't have a link handy.

I don't agree with McCain 100% but I feel he'd be a lot more likely to stick to his word and make promises that are reasonable to keep, but ah well! \:D/
