How...

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

How...

Post by DanP740 »

How did you pick your screen name? Tell us why you picked it.

For me, it's, um, my first name then last initial, then, um, I'm not sure I should tell what the 740 means.

The year of your birth, no doubt. :noway:

Wait... that means you're rather old. :thud:

I picked my username because I identify somewhat with the character of Trent DeWhite. Incidentally, I also have a brother named Jared, but that was not a factor in deciding my username.

I like the episode The Last Great Adventure of the Summer and I thought that the name "Catspaw" was cool. It became even more appropriate after I joined the Blackgaard clan, since it sounds mysterious and secret-agent-ish. (Or at least I think that it does...) :anxious:

This thread sounds vaguely familiar... :-k

Actually, that thread was on what your screen name meant, not how you came to choose you name. :noway:

True, but most people explained that there as well. Oh well. I guess it doesn't matter.

I chose it because I am a Bone, and the name "happysmiler" is not very fitting to that group. I had originally joined as happysmiler, which is my standard username, but when I joined the Bones, Rodney hinted that I should change my name. He suggested angryfrowner, but I didn't really like that one. Rusty actually came up with the idea for my name.
