Spiders vs. Snakes

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Spiders vs. Snakes

Post by Arla »

I've labled the the types of creatures that make us squirm into two groups, spiders and snakes. Which would you rather (if you had to) encounter? For me it depends what type of spider or snake it is. A big spider? Give me a snake. A poisonous snake? Give me a spider. But overall I'm going for the snake.
Just smell those burning leaves, the warm baked bread, and the hot apple cider. Ahhh.

Snakes are awesome. \:D/ I recently held a python. \:D/

Spiders, as some wise person once said "should burn in the pit of hell". ;)

Spiders freak me out, I'll scream with spiders. O:)

Snakes are fine though. :D

As you can see here, I don't have any problems with non-poisonous snakes. \:D/ I will scream or go beserk at spiders. *shudder*
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.

Neither!

But, I'd rather run into a snake...unless it was poisonous. I detest spiders. ...Even tiny ones. :p

What was that event for that you all were holding snakes?

And to answer the original question, I don't like or dislike either. If I could, I'd never have to deal with one, but if I do, meh, no biggie. Though there was one time I thought I was on a legit hiking trail and wound up wading through a swamp-type deal in sandals and a snake swam right by my feet. That I could've done without ;)

It was at our local library...it was called Snakes Alive! Basically just an educational program on reptiles. :) It was geared for school children, but as I had seen him years ago and really enjoyed it, I decided to go again. :)

I absolutely HATE spiders.

My friend has a snake which he imaginatively named "Snake", and I like holding it. It's really not creepy at all.

I'd rather take on spiders.

I have a snake phobia. :(

Spiders? *shudders* Now that could get out of hand if I was there... :shocking:
But snakes? I could live with snakes if I had to... :surrender:
