What else can you do while reading?

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

What else can you do while reading?

I can listen to music, eat, and converse simultaneously while reading.

I can do all of those except for drive a car and that probably has something to do with the fact that I don't know how to drive. :anxious:

I can't really do too much... listen to music and the odd AIO episode, sometimes. It depends what I'm reading. :-k

I can walk, listen to music, eat, and dry my hair while I read!

I can do nothing except read. I get so wrapped up in what I am reading that I tune everything and everyone out. I can't even listen to AIO when I am reading.

This is how I am as well. When I read, I can't concentrate on anything besides the story.

You didn't have an "ALL OF THE ABOVE" option. I can do just about anything and everything while reading. Which I try to do...especially if it's a good story!

I can listen to music while readingm, though I usually don't. If it's fun reading than I'm involved with the story and don't like outside distractions, and if it's school reading, then I don't want to get sidetracked by singing along with Michael W. Smith, resulting in my eyes having seen the words, but my mind retaining absolutely nothing. Instrumental music is good! :D

This may be my one true skill: I can get dressed, brush my teeth, fix my hair, eat, drive, study (somewhat), post, surf, attend class....all while reading! Has to be good fiction though...

I can listen to music, but that's about it. I've walked while reading before, but it's a little distracting and I can't soak in what I was reading very well.

Same here. I can't walk and read. As absorbed as I get in what I'm reading it may prove fatal.

I can walk, talk to people, listen to AIO or music, get hit by cars (while jay-walking), eat, drink, and dance.

I was walking down the alley behind our house on my way to the bus stop and a HUGE Rottwieler JUMPED out at me and started snarling. That was the freakiest thing ever. It was doublely scary because I hadn't seen it until it was RIGHT in front of me because I was reading. I held my book out in front of me and said, "NO!" and it went back into it's yard. That was terrifiying!

Did I stop reading and walking? No, I just don't go down that alley. #-o
