The Town of Odyssey

Hey everyone, I haven't posted for a while, but I'm still around. I'm just lurking.

Anyway, my Dad went down to the hospital last night because it looked like he was having appendicitis. Well, he wasn't, but they kept him overnight because they think that a spot on his bowels is inflamed. Ouchie. If that is the case, then they'll probably either flush out his bowels or give him antibiotics.

It's so wierd, because my Dad hasn't had to stay at a hospital overnight since he had his gall bladder removed, and that was AGES ago, like before I was born. So anyway, please pray for him to get well.

Also, my sister's friend ound out last night that her grandfather passed away, so please pray for her as well.

Ouch.... I will pray! Hope he feels better, and gets better soon! And I'll pray for your friend. It's sad when someone passes.... I've experienced it too much.

I just got back from visiting with Dad. The doctors think that he has diverticulosis. (Not sure if I spelled that right. Oh well.) I'm not quite sure what the doctors are going to do to treat it at the moment. So yes, prayer would be appreciated.

Oh yes, and if you could pray for my sister, mel_ice, who'll be heading out of town tomorrow morning. Please pray for safe travel.

He's still there. They had to keep him overnight again. This sucks.

Good news is that he's feeling a little bit better, so I'm praying that he can come home from the hospital before school starts. (In Canada it starts this Tuesday.) Keep on praying!
