What are some things you would love to learn??

Like riding a bike, how to do laundry, to paint, to fix a car, speak another language...

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

What are some things you would love to learn??

Post by Jennifer Doyle »

What would you like to learn? I have tons of things I wish I knew how to do. I want to know how to fix cars, to speak Spanish, to play piano really well, learn more and more about the Bible, be an expert on American politics, to draw... TONS of stuff! I think it's good to have lots of goals like that for our lives.

What about all ya'll?

Same... <_<
And finally learning Japanese, rather than relying on my 10 or so known phrases to make me sound intelligent...
"Sonuna" Taranimak ("Sonuna" Sharkquill) has been content lately. She admired own very fine Bed recently. She talked with a parent recently. She talked with a friend recently. She had a good meal recently. She admired a fine tastefully-arranged Desk recently.
She is a citizen of The United States of America. She is a member of The State of Minnesota. She is a member of The Town of Odyssey.
"Sonuna" Taranimak likes Bauxite, Copper, Green jade, the color navy, cloaks, ballistas, cats for their aloofness and hydras for their seven heads. When possible, she prefers to consume Dr Pepper and ramen.
She lives at a relaxed pace. She tends to avoid crowds. She has a fertile imagination. She is completely disorganized. She is very distant and reserved. She tends not to openly express emotions. She needs caffeine to get through the working day.

I would love to learn how to figure skate. I think all the jumps and spins look really neat. But I've only been ice skating once in my life, so it's probably too late now. :(

I could share your feelings (if I had to do any more math courses)

I'd like to learn what this so-called "social life" thing is that I hear other people refer too........it sounds really kinda interesting except they don't generally talk about computers at the same time, so I'm assuming it's something that would force me to spend even more time away from a computer screen...........maybe it's not that interesting after all.

Slightly more seriously, I'd like to learn how to mow lawns out in the blazing sun for eight to ten hours a day five days a week without burning to a crisp without the use of that junk called sun-screen (which I burn with anyway). Of course I know it's not likely to happen, but I can always hope that it will.

I'd like to learn auto mechanics a little bit better..........I know enough to fix most minor problems with my car, but I still have to take it to a mechanic for anyting major.........I'd like to be able to fix all (or most) of my problems with cars by myself.

Peace Out

I'd like to know how to pick any lock.
Write with my toes

have super-sonic-reflexes
do one fingered push-ups
get in the guiness book of records for something

And I'll post more later...

I'll side with BC on the lock picking stuff. It has always fascinated me. Another thing I would like to learn is the Linux command line. That thing is so insanely powerful, yet so complex that I haven't braved the insanity. Learning another programming language or two would also be useful.

Sure, that'd be nice too. :D Spanish and Korean would be more practical for me at the moment so that's why I named them first.
