Reflex test

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

I managed a .22, though most of mine were .24s and .25s.

I noticed a huge improvement when I switched from my wireless mouse to my keyboard. Evidently the time it takes for the signal to travel is measurable. I also noticed a significant improvement in response time when I stopped staring at the button, and instead stared at the large blank white space to the left of the screen.

I don't know how some of you can get .14s... :thud:

Being a gamer probably has a lot to do with it.

Yes, now I see why they say wired mice are so necessary for gamers... A corded mouse seems as if it might add as much as .05 seconds to response time. I always thought such a small number would be unnoticeable, but I can tell the difference here!

Ah well, the small drawback in response time is overwhelming made up for by the functionality and sheer comfort of my Logitech MX1000 (Laser mouse. :D )

Wired definitely provides an advantage. I have used wireless, but always seem to do better with wired devices. In this case, I'll sacrifice convenience for speed. If I wasn't a gamer, though, it would be wireless all the way.
