Rank Bars/Custom Rank Bars
Now I'm starting to wish I had waited since it cost me $400 when I bought my colored bar .

.pngs demand equal representation, largely due to allowing gamma transparency and thus being both a) superior for nonanimation and b) supported by pretty much everything save certain IE units? >_>JesusIsAlive wrote:Oh, and please save the file as a .gif! :)
"Sonuna" Taranimak ("Sonuna" Sharkquill) has been content lately. She admired own very fine Bed recently. She talked with a parent recently. She talked with a friend recently. She had a good meal recently. She admired a fine tastefully-arranged Desk recently.
She is a citizen of The United States of America. She is a member of The State of Minnesota. She is a member of The Town of Odyssey.
"Sonuna" Taranimak likes Bauxite, Copper, Green jade, the color navy, cloaks, ballistas, cats for their aloofness and hydras for their seven heads. When possible, she prefers to consume Dr Pepper and ramen.
She lives at a relaxed pace. She tends to avoid crowds. She has a fertile imagination. She is completely disorganized. She is very distant and reserved. She tends not to openly express emotions. She needs caffeine to get through the working day.

I'm afraid I missed the question. Would you mind restating that?Sonuna Hydris wrote:.pngs demand equal representation, largely due to allowing gamma transparency and thus being both a) superior for nonanimation and b) supported by pretty much everything save certain IE units? >_>JesusIsAlive wrote:Oh, and please save the file as a .gif!
My basic Sonunese language translation (and actually understanding what she's talking about to begin with ) of that is that she's requesting that it be made known that .png formatted images are good for rank bars as well. They are higher quality (a1) than .gifs and can also handle transparent areas. The only downsides are that (a2) they aren't for animated images and (b) that older browsers like IE 6 do not support them.
OK, now did that make any more sense?

Yes ma'am. That made perfect sense. I got that much, I was just confused about the question mark at the end of Sonuna's sentence.Darcie wrote:My basic Sonunese language translation (and actually understanding what she's talking about to begin with ) of that is that she's requesting that it be made known that .png formatted images are good for rank bars as well.
