The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
It looks really good to me. Anyone else interested?

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
Have you read the book and do you want to see the movie?
I haven't even heard of the book before but now I want to read it and I want to see the movie. A girl in one of my classes said it was really good.

My sister is thinking about it. We're looking at this page right now.

Prolly full of all sorts of ungodly things. Maybe it's good. Seems funny that people would mail a pair of pants between each other.
Haven't read the books.

Anything about traveling pants has to be good, as far as I'm concerned!

I haven't read the book, and I was rather disappointed with the content that they mentioned in the Plugged In review, but I'll probably still see it at some point. My best friend really wants to see it, so we probably will sometime. It might still be fun, and sometimes things sound worse in words than when they're viewed on the screen.

I'll admit, the content does sound kind of stupid, I mean, a movie about girls mailing a pair of magical pants around the world? Kinda weird... But, I think I'll probably watch it anyway, just for the sake of watching it.

I saw it yesterday. It was bittersweet. One of the girls was pretty innappropriate. (In a "romantic" sense.) That wasn't really good, but other than that I thought it was pretty good. Not surprised that most of the guys here don't sound thrilled. But then, how many girls were in love with Terminator?

My best friend and I went to see it today! Some of my friends had seen it earlier, and had said that they cried through half of it, but I didn't shed a single tear. I was close at a couple points, though.
It was interesting, and much more serious and sad than I had been expecting. It wasn't a total mindless chick flick, which surprised me. While there were a few parts of the film that could have used a bit of editing, the content was fairly acceptable, at least for older people like me.

How on EARTH did that get a PG rating?
That looks very much like something I wouldn't have my sisters, or myself watching.

Looks like I'll have to find a new Christmas present for you then, EB.

Sex is implied to have occurred in the movie, and two adults are said to be living together, but only kissing occurs on screen, and it isn't too raunchy. Underwear is viewed, but not in the context of sex.
I don't remember any swearing - there was some stuff that I wouldn't say myself, but nothing hardcore.
I've never seen the movie for Grapes of Wrath, but the book is far from clean! That's why I didn't like reading it for an English class, and don't ever plan on reading it again! I actually celebrated each time another one of the characters bit the dust. It's terrible, I know...Bad Catspaw!
