The Final Harry Potter Book

"Books? You want books?! Ha! We've got books on hairy otters, on onions and on mars! All the fungus you could care for, plus, three triple zillion stars. We've got books on flossing teeth, plus three books on tossing sheep. If we spent our lives just counting books, we'd never get to sleep!" -Leopold the Librarian ("The Great Wishy Woz")

I think Neville killed him at some point during the battle sequence.

Voldemort summoned the Sorting Hat and forced Neville to put it on, Neville reached into the hat and took out Gryffindor's sword (just as Harry had done years before) and Neville killed Nagini with one slash

Ideally, I didn't like the ending and think they could have done better. Practically, I think they ended it as best they could considering what's happened so far (I sort of liked the flash-forward to when Harry is an adult).

I loved the book. I had to lock myself in my room so I could cry. I lost it when Dobby died, when Fred died. When anyone died. I was crying so much.

I missed the Hogwarts setting, but I really liked the book. Not my favorite (that honor is reserved for some of the first four), but great. I only started reading Harry Potter this summer, so now I want to go back and reread the whole series.

I got it the day it came out, and read it all in one shot - albeit one shot that took until 9 the next morning :anxious:

Oh, and most of my tears were for Snape.

I started a few days after the book came out and read them all in 2 weeks.

I haven't had the time to actually sit down and read the book. I will probably start reading the series shortly, but I've been listening to the audio books by Stephen Fry. In the meantime
