I've seen that book but never read it. I hope it's a good read, Laurie!

I just read a great book! "Heirlooms" by Sandra Byrd. It goes back and forth between the 1950s and modern day, with grandmothers and granddaughters the alternating focus. It was so good! I highly recommend it.

I finished To Dwell Among Cedars, excellent story. Up next for me is A Beautiful Disguise by Roseanna M. White. It is the first book in her The Imposters trilogy. The third book in this trilogy releases in November.

I'm reading "A Castaway in Cornwall" by Julie Klassen. It's awesome, as all her books are! I'm still trying to figure out what's going on, which is all part of the fun. Lots of intrigue!

I just finished Star Wars: Crucible. This one was really good, but you should to read The Legacy of the Force and Fate of the Jedi serieses first. It was the last book chronologically in the Legends timeline, and while it was a decent stopping spot, I do want to know what happens with a couple antagonists who got away. My only real nitpick with the book was that the author interpreted balance in the force wrong. Oh well.

I also finished Fan Fiction by Brent Spiner. It a comedy dectective story about Data's actor getting death threats while making Star Trek TNG. It was funny but very crude, so I can't recommend it. I did like how the TNG cast played themselves in the audiobook though.

I think I'll start Scoundrels by Timothy Zahn next. My brother says it's a really fun one.

Let me know what you think of Scoundrels! I've been meaning to listen to the audiobook but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I recently read "A Return to Hawthorn House" by Kristi Ann Hunter. It has two new novellas and one that previously only existed in enovella form. I absolutely adore that story, so I was happy to get it in print form. I enjoyed it all so much that I reread another favourite by Hunter - "A Noble Masquerade." Good stuff!

Oh, I haven't read a Patricia Bradley book in years! I used to enjoy them.

I just got a Thrawn Alliances graphic novel book that I'm looking forward to. I listened to the audiobook of the full book and this one was my favourite in the series, so when I saw there was a new graphic novel version, I figured I would give it a try. It's not quite my usual reading, but it looks like fun.

I liked the Thrawn comic, but they seem to have missed the ending. There are four labelled parts, but (spoiler alert) it seems like there should have been at least one more part, since major end plot points are not covered as they are in the book. It seemed quite odd. Good stuff other than that!

I'm starting "Excavating the Evidence for Jesus" bu Titus Kennedy. Should be a good read!

Just finished Churchill and Orwell: The Fight for Freedom. If you're interested in 20th century history, I highly recommend it.

Will do. I'll probably read a chapter at a time while reading a fiction book too, so it might take me a little while.

My brother enjoys books about Churchill. I'll have to ask if he's familiar with this one!
