Favorite TV Commercials

Post by Flyah »

What are your favorite TV commercials? The reason I thought of this today is because this morning I saw my new all-time favorite commercial. It starts with a guy holding his stomach and then they go through his stomach into an imaginary control center in his organs. Then a guy monitoring a big board (picture NASA) turns and says these immortal TV words:

"Looks like we've got a level 2 diarrhea."

How would you like to be the guy who had to say that? Great ad. What are you favorites?

 That's awesome! I haven't seen that yet!

Ummm... there have been lots that really amused me, but I can't think of any now... :(

Although you reminded me of the one that showed Godzilla in some woman's belly when she had diarrhea... that was pretty rad.

I loved that bud lite ad during the Super Bowl with the pilot that jumped out of the plane for the beer :hilarious:

Oh yeah, I used to love that old commercial for the Nintendo Cereal System. I found it online a while back, brought back some great memories! As well as the old Legend of Zelda commercials when the original game came out... "It's the Legend of Zelda and it's really rad! Those creatures from Gannon are pretty bad!" The rap was so awesome!

I really like the Burger King commerical that I saw the other night. Two guys were sitting in Burger King, and R2-D2 and C-3PO were there, and one of the guys is just about to do some kind of scratch prize thing, and his girlfriend shows up in a hologram thing (Like Leia in A New Hope) and says, "You have to win this trip the Bahamas (or wherever) for us. It's your only hope. It's your only hope. It's your only hope." (Or something along those lines). I find it rather amusing, though I'm a little worried about what their relationship is based on... :-s

Those are just disgusting. :noway:

The Geico commercial where the guy crashes into a dear is pretty funny.

Announcer: "What are you going to do today?"
Guy with Mars Bar: "I'm going to conquer my backyard!"

*Dramatic Music* Guy runs around, swings from vines, gets chased by leapards and other animals, and vanquishes other great dangers in that terrible forest**

Suddenly, he gets snatched up by rope, and is left swinging upside down. Two attractive jungle women come up to him.

"Are you our cousin Johnny?" they ask.

"Um," he chuckles, "Do you want me to be?"

They both look at each other and smile, nodding enthousiastically.

Aah...the magic of a Mars Bar...

It was a super bowl commercial with the cutest little donkey that wanted to be a budwiser clydsdale! That was SOOOOO cute! Such a great commercial. Almost...ALMOST enough to make me want to buy beer. Then I thought of the smell, the harmful effects on the liver, the taste(if it's anything like the smell) and decided not too. :D

Wow. Descriptive. :anxious:

I like that commercial with Cedric the Entertainer and he's got a girl over at his house and he leaves to get them each a beer. He starts dancing in the kitchen (while holding the beer) because he really likes her or something and when he gets back and hands her the beer it practically explodes all over her hair, face, and dress. Then it cuts back to him trying to dry her off with a hair dryer. I was in stiches!

I like the Cingular commercial (was it Cingular... hmm) where Chewy is recording a ring tone and he keeps doing the same thing over and over again. And the guy in the studio says through the mic "I love it, but make me hate it!" and C3-PO is waiting outside saying "what's taking so long?!"

Yeah, so that's my favorite...

I also like the Geico commercial that's supposed to look like a reality TV show... "The Marriage was built to last, but the house *dun dun dun dun* was built... too... SMALL!"

I love the one that G4 did for E3. It's on their site at www.g4tv.com. I don't know why I like it so much. It's just hilarious.

The Geico commercials or the Haagen-Dazs ones...
"Sonuna" Taranimak ("Sonuna" Sharkquill) has been content lately. She admired own very fine Bed recently. She talked with a parent recently. She talked with a friend recently. She had a good meal recently. She admired a fine tastefully-arranged Desk recently.
She is a citizen of The United States of America. She is a member of The State of Minnesota. She is a member of The Town of Odyssey.
"Sonuna" Taranimak likes Bauxite, Copper, Green jade, the color navy, cloaks, ballistas, cats for their aloofness and hydras for their seven heads. When possible, she prefers to consume Dr Pepper and ramen.
She lives at a relaxed pace. She tends to avoid crowds. She has a fertile imagination. She is completely disorganized. She is very distant and reserved. She tends not to openly express emotions. She needs caffeine to get through the working day.
