I'll pray, too. It's got to be hard adjusting to a restricted diet at first, but I hope it helps you in the long run.

I had my three wisdom teeth taken out (the fourth one just plain wasn't there on the x-ray), and it went ok, but now I'm getting a sore throat on one side, and it hurts to swallow (even hurts a little in that ear), so please pray that either this isn't a sign of some infection, or that God heals me if it is.

Also, I have a younger friend who just found out they have cancer!

They say even though they're not afraid to die, they want to live for now and accomplish more for God and their country. Please pray for this person and their family.

The sore throat goes away after a while. I haven't yet had any pain in my ears, but the left side (the side the molar had to come out on) is still quite painful, while the right side is doing pretty good now.......eat lots of ice cream. It helps with the pain better than the pain medications do

I'll have to go in to a specialist to get my lower wisdom teeth out because my dentist's office wasn't equipped to do it. The surgon did say that there's no real rush though. Fortunately, for the lower ones, I will be completely knocked out, so hopefully that makes a difference in the after effect.

With the Easter holiday coming up fairly soon, I've taken it upon myself to create a video montage for the upcoming Sunday service. It's amazing how fast you can get a story conceptualized when you have the Holy Spirit guiding you! In regards to the video, it's not overly special... but I truly feel the Spirit leading me in a particular direction. I'd really appreciate it if you guys could pray that the Lord would continue to impress upon me that which He wants to be portrayed in the video. Also, pray that I would be able to finish this project on time. Ideally, I'd like to get a rough copy of the video produced by Wednesday evening, with the final product completed by Friday. I know God operates on His own time, but I'd really like to get the video finished at a decent hour.

Just a simple prayer request:

I've been having bad headaches lately and I'm off to see the eye doctor today... If you all could pray that maybe this (new glasses or whatever) will get rid of the headaches and that I'll not have a panic attack when I step into the doctor's office (I dislike doctors!), I'd appreciate it.

A year ago, I was also having a lot of headaches. Nothing was wrong with my eyes, at least, nothing more than what they've had wrong with them for years. The headaches finally went away, but we never found out why I was getting so many of them.

I'll be praying for you.

I get really bad headaches when my neck hurts... usually going to the chiropractor a few times helps me feel better.

Thank you for the prayers.

I was told that my eyes are dry, so I was also told to start using fake tear drops and use a warm rag on my eyes... And I also had to get a new pair of prescription reading glasses. But, praise the Lord, I haven't had any bad headaches nearly every day! $\:D/$

I coudl use some prayer as well. For the past few weeks I have been getting a ton of serious migraines and thgey have caused me to miss a lot of class. PRay that they go away and that we can get to the bottom of them. THanks guys.

Well... this is difficult.

I just got back from my church choir practice, where I received some shattering news. The music minister is a man who I greatly admired for both his genius and love of the Lord. The music ministry at my church is about as good as they come.

This past week it was brought to light that he was having an affair. And... wow. Totally out of nowhere, blindsided. I guess I've just never encountered this on a personal level before. As you can imagine, this is going to be difficult time for the both the families involved, the church, and all the branches of the music ministry. So far it looks like both marriages will make it. He has resigned, and we're going through the process of Biblical restoration.

I just really want to ask prayer for both participants, their spouses, the church, and the choir. It's been a hard blow; hard to comprehend. The choir is such a family -- he was really close to all of us.

I'm having a 'bad week' right now.

I've been exercising and trying to eat a lot better, but I'm still having a lot of problems. I just want this stupid chemical imbalance to go away and leave me alone. ([Gollum voice]Leave now... and never come back![/Gollum]

) But in all seriousness, I really could use prayer. I'm afraid I'm going to lose control and do something REALLY crazy soon.

(I've already deleted my account at one message board, burst into tears for no reason whatsoever, had two fights with my mom, and broken a couple of rules at my school... and that's just the past two days!)

Thank you... I'm trying to let Him help me, but it's scary to surrender control sometimes-- even to God. It's like trying to lie down so the doctors can help you when you can't breathe. Few people are brave enough to surrender their safety to the doctor's hands, and so he/she has to wait until the patient is in really bad shape (unonscious) before they can correct the problem and help them breathe again.

Maybe that's a bad analogy, but it's the best my muddled mind can come up with right now.

Rachael: Maybe this will sound crazy (I've never known anyone personally who did this), but it might help you feel more comfortable with letting it all go to God if you put a chair next to you (or facing you) when you pray, and imagine Jesus sitting right there listening to you and talking to you in person, and just tell Him about your feelings and your fear of surrender the way you're telling us. I think this might help you get really close to Him and make you more able to let Him do what He wants to do in your life.

Also, remember something (I heard this from my preacher): if you feel like you're going through hell, don't stop! Keep going, and God will get you through it.

I should've delcared a major 8 days ago. This is not a good thing. And I still don't know what I want to do. Or should do. Either way, I'd appreciate the prayer.
