Well, I'm not, since I don't have a TV. But just in case anyone here is, I thought I'd share:

Chris Sligh's brother was my English teacher last semester. :D

Not only do I not know who Chris Sligh is, but I'm proud of that fact ;)

I've been watching American Idol since Season 2. For the first couple seasons that I watched, I'd watch every episode. In the last couple of years, however, I've watched it off and on...but I do know who everyone is.

I'm also a non-viewer. Although I did see a small bit when a news channel asked the question "Is Idol getting meaner?" (although... that particular news show was hardly very enlightening.)

I've never watched it, but a few weeks ago when some of my friends and I were playing pool in the downstairs lounge, some others were watching TV and I saw a few of the auditions...

So, sadly, I am not 100% untainted anymore :boohoo:

Wow...it seems so far there are more people on here who don't watch it then there are who do, which surprised me. Where I live everybody watches American Idol (myself included). My sister got me started on it during season 3. I think it's great! :D

I've hardly seen any of it at all, but the other evening I was on my laptop, which happened to be near the TV, and my brother was channel-surfing and landed on American Idol, so I saw about half an hour of auditions. It was fairly amusing, actually! \:D/ I won't mark it on my calendar or anything, but it was interesting.

Chris Sligh is a JAck Osbourne look a like who is from Greenville, Sc and went to Bob Jones for a while.

Auditions are my favorite part. They crack me up. :hilarious:

Yup. And then he got kicked out. Anyway, his brother is like the awesome teacher I've ever had, so I am really rooting for Chris! \:D/

I've never watched the show, but tonight I participated in our church's talent show. At the end, there were judges pretending they were from American Idol. :anxious:

Same With me...
I saw a TV show once where the star ran away, and I don't think I ever want to see it again :anxious:

Jordin Sparks was one of four backup singers at a Michael W. Smith concert I attended this past Christmas season. I just might have to follow the contest to see how she does.
