Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!
Alright, I just heard it for the first time and... I almost cried! Yes, my chances of crying are high if I hear somebody else cry... Anyway, I thought this was a great episode and I wish AIO would do more like it.
I'm pretty sure that this is already a thread so don't tar and feather me!
It is a really sad episode and I just heard it recently as well, but I'm surprised you haven't heard it before because it was one of the first albums I got
I believe in the place where the mind and the heart unite at faith
I agree that it's a sad episode. Definitely more serious than some eps. I remember when I first heard it I thought that Jerry's friend's nickname was Playdoh, which seemed rather odd, until I realized that it was Plato.
Plato makes more sense - that whole philosopher thing, as opposed to a hunk of an inedible but fun dough-like substance. I'm not sure how long it took me to realize that Plato was what they were saying, but it was more than little while.

War scenes? I don't think there are any war scenes in that story that I remember. I've listened to it several times too. Are you talking about the "peace" rally with the riots?
ohhh my goodness I first heard this ep when I was quite small and I didn't know who plato was... so yeah
anywhoo its a VERY good ep. nice acting
I am the only one to blame for this
Somehow it all ends up the same
Soaring on the wings of selfish pride, I flew too high
and like Icarus I collide
with the world I tried so hard to leave behind

I know it may seem funny now, but it seems abundantly clear that I was not the only person who ever had that misconception, based on the posts in this thread.
I didn't check the website when I was little because a) I didn't have the internet and b) I thought that I knew what was being said. Now I didn't need to because I knew that Plato was right and my childhood assumption was wrong.

huh? I don't remember that...there are a lot more "intense" AIO's than this one!
*snif, snif* yes, this is a sad ep. I don't think I ever thought they were saying Play-dough. But it's very understandable that you might. I think I heard this ep when I was a little older. Anyway, it almost makes me cry too.
Thanks Lucy Pevensie for my awsome avatar and signature!!!
Yes, I know it's no longer Christmas but right after I change it it will be again so just get over it...

Sorry, but I didn't really get how easy it would be to mishear. We call play-doh mórla over hear...
