Oh, Tumblr... there's a reason I don't indulge. A kid on my bus once described Tumblr as a type of website that rhymes with 'May corn'.
I do, however, love this song:

haha that was great Amy.
GIF stands for Graphics Interchange Format, so it should be pronounced 'Gif"
still, I wonder what the admins and mods will think of it

Yeah, that about sums it up. But seriously, if you have the nerve to dig through the garbage, there really is some awesome stuff. For example:

Shen speaks truth. (For the record, I definitely do not ship Johnlock.) It usually goes like this: I'm innocently scrolling through the "Sherlock" tag enjoying the hilarious and beautiful pictures, when, out of nowhere, there's JOHNLOCK PORN. Then I go wash out my eyes and brain with alcohol. (Seriously though, the porn artists infiltrate just about every tag. )
You can generally block NSFW things fairly easily, and then also block some other tags that are inappropriate.
Season 3 will interrupt my stressful engg life as my best friend and I will sacrifice our university studies to watch those episodes together. But it will be worth it.

But....but I heard it was airing in the US in early 2014?
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE

From what I researched, it's coming out late 2013 or early 2014. I think I read that they still have not finished the 3rd episode yet. I feel like right now I've waited so long to find out how it happened that it doesn't really matter how much longer I have to wait.

Oh I know, but sometimes (or at least in this specific example) I've found that people tag perfectly decent pictures of Sherlock and John with the Johnlock tag. So usually I just take my chances. Actually, I'm pretty good now at scrolling carefully to avoid what I don't want to see.
Shen, I think the third series is supposed to air over here in early 2014, which means that Termite and I will be pirating each episode as quickly as possible and will gladly share the links with you. (There will probably be quite a few links on tumblr as well; there usually are.)

Yeah, but of course, that's where my second reason for not getting a Tumblr account comes in: I already waste enough of my time online, do I really need another source of obsession/distraction/feels for fictional characters? (I loved that last picture, btw.) As it is, Tumblr wastes enough of my time indirectly when I'm scrolling through Unfriendable.com. As a wannabe teacher, this particular post is my favorite: http://www.unfriendable.com/Tumblr/TEAC ... HIP/108275

Okay then what I heard was right; it would air in England in the fall first, and then in early 2014 here.
Anna: I feel like it's so close, yet so far. At Comic Con they showed a clip of the second episode and someone on tumblr wrote down what went on. It was nice to have a glimpse
Thanks Aeva! Once it airs (finally) I'll probably be scouring the internet for links. I'd be happy to accept any you provide

I had a tumblr from winter 2010 to spring 2013 and I'm actually really happy I deleted mine for that reason. It used up so much time. I still look at tags on it sometimes, and read a few blogs, but I don't spend hours scrolling through my dash like I used to.
And Shen, what did they say happened in that scene?
A few sites that generally have links for Sherlock the day after it airs are btvguide.com and tv-links.EU.

Anna: the clip showed had John asking Sherlock to be his best man, and also Sherlock giving the toast at the reception.

I don't think I want John to get married. (Unless it's to me...)

My name isn't actually Anna, so for all you know it could be Mary.

I have recently been drawn to Sherlock after refusing to watch for some time. I've watched season one today, it's rather enjoyable.
