But, once they make something, and do the same thing over and over, completely butchering the one before it each time, or changing the ideas, or going with the first option on the list because all they wanted was to make a quick buck in Hollywood, not a quality movie, it begins to get tiresome...
I happen to believe Star Wars is none of these. You should really watch the movies, unless you have a good reason not to. ;)

:- I might make time, though it is becoming a trend in Hollywood to do so. Just saying.. I don't have anything against them, i just don't quite stand for them ...Yet. ;)

...No... It's a trend in Hollywood to not leave good enough alone. >_>

I'm still trying to figure out when Star Wars was a classic children's novel.

I understand your point, Samantha, (can I call you Sam?) but I trust George Lucas. If the scripts are his, then odds are they'll be awesome. \:D/ (I could foresee a problem if Disney starts making it up as they go. :- ) And you should totally watch the movies; they will CHANGE YOUR LIFE.

Thank you! Someone who doesn't mock me... >_> And, yes, you can. ^_^ I can see your point as well, and I could even go as far as to agree, though I would have to look into them more. I might look into them soon. :)

I'm telling you, they will change your life. \:D/ You'll never be able to look at movies the same way again.

(Oh, and try not to let the sarcastic people get you down, because there are quite a few of them on this board. Just don't take anything personally.)

And don't react when people tease you; it just opens the door for more. ;)

.....I was hoping for more news on the new movie, but my quick Google search brought nothing. Boo. :( I was thinking about this again recently, actually. Even if it is dumb it'll be something to laugh at.

Other than the fact that it exists, and we know who's writing and directing... I don't think there's nearly enough information to know whether or not we should be excited for it. :anxious:

On the contrary Jelly, its mere existence is cause for excitement (or concern, depending on your view) for fans of the franchise.

There are several other threads on this subject though, so I will merge this into one of them momentarily.

Yay! Harrison Ford! :inlove:

That's my main contribution here. ;) We still don't know very much, but I am definitely looking forward to see where this is going.

It was cool to hear that Andy Serkis would be in the movie, and I am very curious to find out what kind of character he'll be playing!
