Since the subject has been brought up, can someone please explain this binder thing to me? I know it came from the debate, but I don’t understand why it’s been picked up everywhere like it has.

Because when a Republican candidate phrases something a little awkwardly its THE MOST HILARIOUS AND/OR OUTRAGEOUS EVENT IN HISTORY!

Honestly I don't even know. I had friends all like "LOLOL BINDERS AND WOMEN" five seconds after he said it. I didn't even notice it in the debate and had to go back and rewatch the clip.
I guess people are loling about it just because the idea of Mitt having a stack of Women Binders brought to him is funny.

Yeah, I can see why it would make people lol about it. But I don't see it as being that hilarious. I guess it's just a wrong use of words, and that happens.
