Life, life

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Oh no! Clear the roads, y'all!

Just kidding. ;) Congrats, Astronomer! \:D/

Heh, my brothers are sitting here loading me up with chocolate. They're so sweet. They're not making it any easier for me to turn off the music and go running in 40 degree weather though... :P

Christmas tree?? You guys do it early :) We usually cut one the weekend after Thanksgiving.
I put Thanksgiving up last night. I won't put my Christmas decorations up until after Thanksgiving too.
We normally put ours up the week of Thanksgiving too, but we're just going to be way to busy.
This year's decorating has been pretty overwhelming. There is just too much junk everywhere...
Speaking of which, today I assembled around 10 Christmas trees for display at my Meijer store. \:D/ We already have 4-6 isles full of Christmas merch.

That does not surprise me. I'm guessing the Meijer store in my town will have that much if they don't already. I didn't look to see if they did today so they may have it set up by now.

Pumpkin, apple pie, and evergreen are my favorites... mm.

About two weeks. I wasn't even sure if I was going to be able to, so it's great. ^_^

Just an hour, I said. I'll set an alarm, I said.

I woke up three and a half hours later... heh. At least I get an extra hour tonight. :-

Amazing and very hilarious that I just caught Barnes & Noble in a lie. :hilarious: I am so tempted to take the book to the store that told me the lie and rub it in. Amazing what checking websites twice will do. I guess I have more of my mother in me than I thought.:D

It's still far too early for Christmas decorations, but tonight in Target I saw they have an actual "Merry Christmas" banner.

I get to go home tomorrow! I'm so excited. \:D/ I'm so tired of having to be a responsible adult and do dishes, and make all my meals, and grocery shop, and do laundry, and go to class, and study, and not have a car. I really miss living at home. I only have one more month of classes this semester and I still haven't managed to make myself a routine. I just really can't wait to go home and be a kid again for at least 5 days. And then I'll only have a month more of school before I go home again. This month I'm going to try much better to actually follow a routine of sorts. It just was hard to adjust to everything.

But seriously, the weekend that I decide to go home is the only time it's ever colder when I'm from than it is where I go to school.

And I have a midterm today that's going to be super hard, but I studied as much as I could for it so I'll just do the best I can and hope for the best.

Macy's has had decorations up and out for sale since before Halloween.

We pulled out some old Winnie the Pooh tapes (using our VCR!) last night. We all four shared some pretty good laughs and lots of memories came back. I don't think it's possible to outgrow Winnie the Pooh - although mad, marching crayons under the bed don't seem quite as intimidating any more. ;)

Ironic that the Barnes & Noble that did not have the book I wanted last week had it this week. I should have taken my copy in last week and rubbed it in. It would have been interesting to see what if any reaction I would have gotten. Barnes & Noble is getting lazy and the sad thing is they don't know that and they don't care.
