Life, life
"it's so fluffy I'm gonna die!"
anyway, life is alright. I've been going to doctors and such lately to find a cure for my eczema-like rash and other health stuff. It's nice to be home today, even if I haven't done a whole lot. I organized stuff, and eaten food mostly. I got Sherlock season 1 in the mail, and so now I have both seasons

Till the end of the line.
Court (aka The Court Jester) randomly suggested that as a nickname one night, and that summer I made it my nickname at camp by having lots of people send me letters addressed to Fluffy.Stop Wooton' Around wrote:Whats the story behind Fluffy?

Someone I know is now in a serious relationship, someone else I know just got engaged. That makes 6 friends/acquaintances in one month. I can't wait for June.

I'm going down to the very tip of Missouri with a bunch of other youth from my church where we stay at a church for a week and put on a vbs camp and pick up trash, go to a nursing home(last year a couple of teens got to go and pray with a dying woman who was a Christian and the next day she died) and just play with the kids, a lot of them don't get very loved at home so we can make them feel loved, even if it's just for a week. The Kings Daughter wrote:Nice! Well tonight is graduation and I have to play for it. Our high school band plays the prelude music and Pomp and Circumstance. Pomp and Circumstance is the worst song ever written by man especially if you play a bass instrument like the tuba. If anyone ever asks you to play Pomp and Circumstance - RUN!! However, this is my 1st year I will actually miss some of the seniors.
I've been out of school since Wednesday and I have been doing some work for my dad's beekeeping business. Its nice and hot here. 93 Thursday, 95 yesterday, 93 today and its supposed to be 97 Sunday. Here in Indiana with the humidity.... (Yes, I still wear long sleeves and pants)
However, I really can't complain I love hot weather and it beats snow any day.

Ugghh, I can't stand the hot weather! It was supposed to get up to 83 today, but I believe it surpassed that before noon. It was the hottest it's been at the farmer's market so far, and I'm going to to have to do something for some of my candies...the gummy squares were melting. I stuck them in the fridge, but they're ruined for sale, I think. Ah well. At least next week is supposed to be 10 degrees cooler....
I took a 2 hour nap this afternoon, since I was up at 3:15 cutting marshmallows this morning. It was worth it though, because I sold out!

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance. ♡
I hate the hot weather too. Tomorrow it is supposed to hit 97° Today it was 85° and I made it through the day without the AC. I know tomorrow is going to be an entirely different story. At least after Monday. the 90s will hopefully be gone for a while and it will be cool. I'm not going to take my usual walk tomorrow or Monday. If my doctor is unhappy, well it won't be the first time.

Graduation went pretty decent besides the fact the other Tuba player was a no-show. With 93 degree weather by this afternoon the packed gym was sweltering especially when you are playing.
It is done now and I only have to play Pomp and Circumstance one more time!!!!

Today was the John Williams symphony It was utterly AMAZING I couldn't have hoped for anything better. Let's see...they played Star Wars, Superman, The Patriot, Saving Private Ryan, and lots of Harry Potter (I couldn't get enough of Hedwig's theme ).
They didn't play Jaws or Jurassic Park, which disappointed me slightly But I can't be too picky, as they played a bunch of Star Wars songs And that was what I was wishing for the most
And the niece of John Williams was there in the audience with us. Now that was pretty fun I got to shake her hand.

Wow, that sounds amazing! I wish I could've been there *sigh*
It's been cooler here lately, and raining off and on. And my wifi is acting up, which made getting on here difficult (actually, the ToO website doesn't always work anyway but this made it worse). I organized stuff, but was a bored without internet.

I envy you. I'd rather have 55° and raining.Jesus' Princess wrote:Oh my word, that hot weather sounds so nice right now here it's raining, and 55 F

Yay, sounds fantastic Mercy. ^.^
We get 80 degrees and raining, and it just makes it more steamy. Still, I am very fond of rain. ^_^

"Life, life" is totally like Facebook.
At Meijer today, I noticed an elderly woman watching me from her car. She (likely nearing age 90) spoke softly to me: "Young man, you thank the Lord you can work like that." I smiled and we began talking about God and such. After a few brief moments, she asked me to hug her. I awkwardly bent down and put my arm around her. She surprised me by kissing me on the cheek. I could tell I was able to put a smile on her face, and while I may have made her day, she most certainly made mine.
